真夜中に参拝者の行列。これなんだかわかりますか？宮地嶽神社は毎月1日についたち（朔日）参りが行われており、夜通しの参拝で大にぎわいとなります。拝殿では特に熱心な参拝者のみなさんによる祈祷も行われます。晦日（みそか）とは月月末の事です。1年11回の晦日、師走12月月末が大晦日。毎月毎月参拝して身も心も清めるエネルギーをいただくことで、新しい月、そして新しい年に、新しく凛とした神力をもらい、新たな気持ちでのぞむのです。
Lines of worshippers at mid night. Do you know for what? Actually, Miyajidake shrine holds a celemony on the first day of each month. We call it “Tsuitachi-mairi”. The festival is packed with worshippers throughout the night. Many people attend the celemony every month. They believe they are granted new energy that purifies their mind and body and sets them to start a new month with power from deities.
