8月1日(水)午前１時より大夏越祭「茅の輪くぐり神事」が斎行されます。
大太鼓の響く中に、参拝者は神職の先導により、「無病息災・悪疫退散」と唱えながら、楼門に掛けられた巨大な茅の輪をくぐります。
茅（カヤ）は刀の様な姿をし、葉は独特で切れやすいので、そんな所から魔を切るとされ、祓いの葉とされてきました。そんな茅を沢山刈って括り付けた茅の輪。
くぐって頂いて、この猛暑の日々を無事に過ごせる様、ご祈念下さい。
Hello everyone, it’s Yume.
We are conducting the Great Natsukoshi Festival 「Chinowakuguri Shinto Ritual」from 1 AM on August 1st (Wednesday).
With the sound of big drums, participants will go through the huge Chinowa hanging in front of the tower gate while the priests sing 「pray for good health and no disaster・bad disease go away」. Kaya(miscanthus) has a shape like a sword in which the leaves are distinctive and easy to cut, thus the leaves are used for exorcism as to cut evil from such a place. The Chinowa is covered with lots of cropped Kaya(miscanthus).
Please come and go through this Chinowa to pray and spend this hot summer days safely.

8月1日(水)上午1點開始舉辦大夏越祭「茅の輪くぐり神事」(钻茅草圈儀式)。
在大太鼓的回響中，參拜者在神職的指導下一邊大聲喊「無病息災・悪疫退散」，一邊钻掛在樓門上的巨大茅草圈。茅草的形狀特別像刀，非常鋒利，用來切晦氣，被稱為可以驅邪的葉子。我門收割了非常多的茅草把它們綑起來，做成了茅草圈。
