宮地嶽神社の木かげ茶屋にて、とても可愛らしいものを発見しました。
これは完全に神職の手作りの「ワラジ」です。
一歳のお祝いを主に踏み餅などと呼び、お子様にわらじを履かせ、餅を踏ませて一歳のお祝いをするそうです。一升餅を大地になぞらえ、「ワラジ」を履かせた足でお餅の上に立たせ、
「一生を強く歩ききる足腰の強い人間になるように」などという願いを込めるそうです。
Hello everyone, this is Yume.
I discovered something really cute at the Kokagechaya of Miyajidake Shrine. These “Waraji” (straw sandals) are completely handmade by the priests.
It is used for the celebration of one year old, in which children wear these straw sandals and step on rice cakes.
Put the large rice cake on the ground and stand on the rice cake wearing the straw sandals as to wish for “to become a strong person and be able to walk with strength in your life.”

我在宮地嶽神社的茶屋（木かげ茶屋）發現了個很可愛的東西喔。
這個可是神職人員親手編織的喔。
叫做草鞋「ワラジ」。這是慶祝小孩滿歲的時候，會把小孩的腳上穿上草鞋讓他踩上一升糯米餅上，站在上面。
寓意著是這一生可以做一個堂堂正正地堅強不屈的人。
